Sessional Instructor, Cases in Petroleum Land Management, Haskayne School of Business

Position Description

The Haskayne School of Business invites applications for two sessional instructors to co-teach the following course in the area of Petroleum Land Management during the 2018 Winter Session, January 8 to April 9, 2018.

  • PLMA 587 – Cases in Petroleum Land Management
    M 18:30 – 21:20

Course Description:

  • Hands-on-case approach to the typical situations and decision-making processes faced by landmen. Historical perspectives, contemporary tactics, and modern applications for land departments.


  • Undergraduate degree and relevant industry landman experience.
  • P.Land designation and/or MBA are helpful.

Short-listed applicants will be asked to submit three (3) letters of reference.

The amount of remuneration is approximately $3000 per co-instructor.
